Hard-bearing balancing machine for medium-weight rotors up to 500 kg

Maximal weight, kg
Maximal diameter, mm
Maximum length, mm

The universal balancing machine model 9D716 is a machine that has already made its mark on the market. The model is versatile and practical thanks to its balanced characteristics.
The high load capacity (up to 500 kg) and unbalance accuracy (0.4 g*mm/kg) allow the balancing of a wide range of parts. The unbalance reduction ratio is 95%, which is excellent for any machine. Additional factors such as the narrow roller cassettes and high support height make this the most versatile machine in its class.
It is also important to remember that the machine can be upgraded without interrupting the production process. The machine is very well designed and the operator has the ability to quickly change cassettes, which allows for better results when balancing small parts using prisms, as well as parts with a large mass and initial imbalance using rollers. In addition, specialized tooling can also be used, such as for balancing crankshafts or rotors in their own bearings.
Machines of this model can be assembled like a construction kit – you decide on the appearance of the machine at the ordering stage. As standard, the machine includes a bed with two movable legs, a belt drive for rotating the workpiece and a separate control cabinet for controlling the drive, machine systems and unbalance measurement. During the ordering process, you can add or replace the “belt drive” with an “axial drive”, as well as complete the machine with an “unbalance correction module” or “jacks” for shockless rotor mounting. All of these modules have their own benefits and purpose, which can be very useful for efficient balancing tasks. Additional modules can significantly reduce the time of your repair or manufacturing process.
The choice is not limited to just mechanical modules, a variety of balancing systems are also available. You can order a machine with the PB-02M microprocessor-based balancing system or the PAK-1 hardware and software system, which runs on an industrial computer with a touch screen. It is also possible to order a unique balancing system with the functions required for you.
The PAK-1 unbalance measuring unit represents the latest generation of measuring complexes for dynamic balancing, combining high precision, stability, and ease of use. It’s designed to tackle a wide range of rotor balancing tasks, from simple to the most complex, requiring precise measurements.

Based on an industrial fanless computer with a touchscreen and a multi-channel measuring unit, the system ensures reliability and a long service life, even under intensive use. The PAK-1 utilizes a universal measuring path and modern component base, allowing for equally high accuracy when working with all types of rotors.
Its intuitive interface, self-calibration capability, and automation of key operations make the complex a convenient tool for both experienced specialists and beginners.

Your questions — our technical solutions
The 9D716 machine is highly versatile due to the capability of using two types of drives, which expands the range of serviceable parts:
Belt Drive: Ideal for high-precision balancing of rotors with smooth surfaces (electric motor armatures, spindles, rollers, shafts), eliminating errors associated with cardan shafts.
Cardan (Universal Joint) Drive: Allows working with rotors that have high aerodynamic resistance or designs that prevent the use of a belt drive (fans, smoke exhausters, combine harvester rotors and augers, decanters, shredder and mulcher rotors).
Yes, the machine is designed for parts weighing from 5 to 500 kg. A massive bed and reinforced supports ensure high vibration damping capacity, which is critical when balancing heavy assemblies with significant initial unbalance.
In the standard configuration, the center-to-center distance between supports is 2000 mm. However, for specific production tasks, we offer an “extended bed” option. We can manufacture a bed of practically any required length, allowing for the balancing of even extra-long shafts with the necessary accuracy.
The 9D716 ensures a minimum specific residual unbalance of 0.4 g·mm/kg. This guarantees balancing to accuracy classes G1 and G2.5 (according to ISO 21940), ensuring smooth operation and durability of heavy industrial equipment bearing assemblies.
Yes, the machine is set up for a new product type by the operator using trial runs with calibration weights.
This approach offers several key advantages for B2B production:
Maximum Sensitivity: Calibration allows adapting the measuring system to the specific geometry and mass of the rotor, minimizing error.
Accuracy Control: The operator can verify and confirm measurement accuracy at any time, eliminating the accumulation of errors during long-term operation.
Flexibility: The machine maintains reference-level accuracy even with non-standard or complex parts, as the system is tuned to the actual response of the specific rotor.
