The PRK-1000 stand is a professional industrial solution designed to perform a full cycle of assembly and welding of heavy two-support drive shafts.

The equipment is designed specifically for service centers and production sites specializing in the maintenance of industrial drive shafts: Metallurgy, Heavy Machinery, Pulp and Paper Industry, Heavy Transport and Special Equipment.

The PRK-1000 combines the functions of an assembly jig, a press for mounting crosspieces, and a rotating welding unit, ensuring high alignment accuracy and consistent quality of the ring weld. In its standard configuration, the stand can handle assemblies weighing up to 1000 kg and measuring up to 4000 mm in length, while the extended specification increases these limits to 1500 kg and 6000 mm, respectively.

This makes the PRK-1000 a versatile tool for working with the most massive and oversized shafts in the industry.

The stand is based on a solid 7000 mm long frame, which ensures structural rigidity under high loads. It houses functional units that cover the entire technological process:

  1. Positioning and rotation system: The stand is equipped with front (fixed) and rear (movable) headstocks with spindles. Smooth adjustment of the rotation speed (0.75–3.0 rpm) allows you to select the optimal mode for forming a high-quality weld.
  2. Hydraulic module: A movable hydraulic press with manual drive is integrated into the design. It is used for precise pressing of cross cups, and the portable hydraulic cylinder included in the set allows for efficient dismantling of worn units.
  3. Supports and steady rests: Adjustable supports (prisms) are used to support long and heavy pipes, ensuring the alignment of all cardan shaft elements during tack welding and welding.
  4. Control modes: Manual: for tack welding and short welds. Automatic: after pressing the “Start” button, the stand makes exactly one revolution (360°) and automatically stops rotating, ensuring perfect overlap (“lock”) of the weld.
  5. Welding stand: A universal welding torch holder securely fixes the semi-automatic gun in the weld area, eliminating the “human factor” and ensuring arc stability.
  6. Tool kit: The stand is equipped with faceplates, three-jaw chucks, and a specialized set of tools for disassembling/assembling joints, allowing you to start working immediately after installing the equipment.
  7. Electrical equipment and power supply. The stand operates from a single-phase 230V network, which greatly simplifies its integration into the infrastructure of small workshops. At the same time, the power consumption is only 0.37 kW (excluding the welding machine), which indicates the high energy efficiency of the drive.
