Il est utile de supposer que toute la masse est concentr\u00e9e en ce point pour les analyses dynamiques simples. Un vecteur de force qui agit \u00e0 travers ce point d\u00e9placera le corps en ligne droite, sans rotation, conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me loi du mouvement de Newton. La somme de toutes les forces agissant sur un corps entra\u00eene l&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de ce dernier \u00e0 un taux proportionnel \u00e0 sa masse.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CENTRE DE GRAVIT\u00c9<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour les applications commerciales normales d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibrage, le centre de masse et le centre de gravit\u00e9 se trouvent au m\u00eame endroit. Cela n&rsquo;est pas vrai pour les applications impliquant un champ gravitationnel non uniforme, mais l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle de la plupart des applications d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibrage est tr\u00e8s petite par rapport aux gradients du champ gravitationnel terrestre et les termes sont synonymes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AXE DE ROTATION<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;axe de rotation est la v\u00e9ritable ligne centrale de la rotation &#8211; la ligne instantan\u00e9e autour de laquelle une pi\u00e8ce tourne. Il est \u00e9galement appel\u00e9 axe de l&rsquo;arbre ou axe g\u00e9om\u00e9trique. L&rsquo;axe de rotation est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement d\u00e9termin\u00e9 par les caract\u00e9ristiques g\u00e9om\u00e9triques du rotor ou par ses paliers de support. La qualit\u00e9 des points de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de montage influe grandement sur la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9quilibrer une pi\u00e8ce. Les surfaces non circulaires, les surfaces non planes, les roulements irr\u00e9guliers ou desserr\u00e9s permettent ou provoquent des variations dans la position de l&rsquo;axe de rotation. La force centrifuge augmente au fur et \u00e0 mesure que la particule tourne autour du point central. Avec des corps rigides, le d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre reste le m\u00eame, bien qu&rsquo;une augmentation de la vitesse entra\u00eene une augmentation de la force. L&rsquo;augmentation de la force entra\u00eene \u00e0 son tour une augmentation du mouvement en fonction de la rigidit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;arbre ou des supports de l&rsquo;arbre. La force augmente de fa\u00e7on exponentielle comme le carr\u00e9 de la variation de la vitesse. Deux fois la vitesse \u00e9quivaut \u00e0 quatre fois la force et quatre fois le mouvement.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MOMENT ET COUPLE<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Un couple est un syst\u00e8me de deux forces parall\u00e8les, \u00e9gales en magnitude et agissant dans des directions oppos\u00e9es. Un couple provoque un moment ou un couple proportionnel \u00e0 la distance entre les forces parall\u00e8les. Son effet est de provoquer un mouvement de torsion ou de rotation.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LE POIDS ET LA MASSE<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Les unit\u00e9s de poids et de masse sont souvent utilis\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re interchangeable et quelque peu approximative dans l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibrage. Ceci est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement acceptable \u00e0 condition que l&rsquo;ordinateur de la balance affiche des unit\u00e9s coh\u00e9rentes ou facilement convertibles avec celles des poids utilis\u00e9s ou de la balance utilis\u00e9e pour fabriquer les poids. La distinction entre le poids et la masse devient un probl\u00e8me lors du calcul de la force de d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre. Il faut comprendre que le poids et la force ont les m\u00eames unit\u00e9s : Newtons (N) dans le syst\u00e8me m\u00e9trique et livres (lbs) dans le syst\u00e8me anglais.
