Es \u00fatil suponer que toda la masa se concentra en este \u00fanico punto para los an\u00e1lisis din\u00e1micos sencillos. Un vector de fuerza que act\u00fae a trav\u00e9s de este punto mover\u00e1 el cuerpo en l\u00ednea recta, sin rotaci\u00f3n, seg\u00fan la segunda ley del movimiento de Newton. La suma de todas las fuerzas que act\u00faan sobre un cuerpo, hace que \u00e9ste acelere a una velocidad, a proporcional a su masa.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CENTRO DE GRAVEDAD<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>En las aplicaciones comerciales normales de equilibrado, el centro de masa y el centro de gravedad se encuentran en el mismo punto. Esto no es cierto en las aplicaciones que implican un campo gravitatorio no uniforme; sin embargo, la escala de la mayor\u00eda de las aplicaciones de equilibrado es muy peque\u00f1a con respecto a los gradientes del campo gravitatorio terrestre y los t\u00e9rminos son sin\u00f3nimos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EJE DE ROTACI\u00d3N<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>El eje de rotaci\u00f3n es la verdadera l\u00ednea central de rotaci\u00f3n, la l\u00ednea instant\u00e1nea alrededor de la cual gira una pieza. Tambi\u00e9n se denomina eje del eje o eje geom\u00e9trico. El eje de rotaci\u00f3n suele estar determinado por las caracter\u00edsticas geom\u00e9tricas del rotor o por sus cojinetes de apoyo. La calidad de los puntos de referencia de montaje influye mucho en la capacidad de equilibrar una pieza. Las superficies no circulares, las superficies no planas, los cojinetes irregulares o sueltos permiten o provocan variaciones en la posici\u00f3n del eje de rotaci\u00f3n. A medida que la part\u00edcula gira alrededor del punto central, tambi\u00e9n lo hace la fuerza centr\u00edfuga. En los cuerpos r\u00edgidos, el desequilibrio permanece invariable, aunque un aumento de la velocidad provoca un aumento de la fuerza. El aumento de la fuerza provocar\u00e1 a su vez un aumento del movimiento en funci\u00f3n de la rigidez del eje o de los soportes del eje. La fuerza aumenta exponencialmente como el cuadrado del cambio de velocidad. El doble de velocidad equivale al cu\u00e1druple de fuerza y al cu\u00e1druple de movimiento.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MOMENTO Y PAREJA<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Un par es un sistema de dos fuerzas paralelas, iguales en magnitud y que act\u00faan en direcciones opuestas. Un par provoca un momento o torsi\u00f3n proporcional a la distancia entre las fuerzas paralelas. Su efecto es provocar un movimiento de torsi\u00f3n o giro.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PESO Y MASA<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Las unidades de peso y masa se utilizan a menudo indistintamente y con cierta vaguedad en el equilibrado. Esto suele ser aceptable siempre que el ordenador de la balanza muestre unidades coherentes o f\u00e1cilmente convertibles a las de las pesas en uso o a las de la balanza utilizada para hacer las pesas. La distinci\u00f3n entre peso y masa se convierte en un problema cuando se calcula la fuerza de desequilibrio. Debe entenderse que el peso y la fuerza tienen las mismas unidades; newtons (N) en el sistema m\u00e9trico y libras (lbs) en el sistema ingl\u00e9s.
